Welcome to our final blog for 2012. We have had a wonderful year at FHC and are proud to celebrate the results of our 2012 VCE cohort.
This year we have seen an increase in the number of students receiving ATAR scores of 90 or above. In 2010, 4% of our VCE students achieved an ATAR of 90 or better. This year that has climbed to 10%. Our percentage of study scores in excess of 40 has doubled in that same time frame.

We extend our congratulations to all students who have performed superbly across a variety of studies. These excellent results are the culmination of many years of collaborative efforts by teachers from Year 7 to 12, Student Engagement and Wellbeing teams and Educational support staff.
We congratulate Mu Sribanditmongkol, College DUX, on her ATAR of 98.35 and the following students who received an ATAR of 90 or more: Alison Duong, Jihyun (Jenna) Shin, Zhao (Chris) Li, Brendan Chang and Khina Rughoonauth  We would like to make special mention of Jaimilee Armstrong who received a perfect study score of 50 in
AUSLAN,

Clearly VCE results are the product of the commitment of our students and the environment they experience as well as the talent, passion and energy of our teaching and support staff. I again thank the staff for their work in 2012.
Your sons and your daughters come to us with their own sets of skills and abilities. We encourage all to attempt Year 12. The emphasis in the VCE at our School has always been on achieving personal best and we are delighted with our VCE results this year.

On behalf of the staff at FHC we would like to wish all our readers a very safe and merry Christmas. We look forward to blogging with you again as Term 1 commences for 2013.
