Week 7 - VCAA Exams come to an end

This week saw the VCAA exams conclude on Tuesday afternoon. At the same time Year 11 classes finished, with their exams commencing next week. This saw the start of the release of teachers for report writing.

Tuesday morning saw Forest Hill College and Blackburn High School battle each other in their dancing competition. The students were well and truly engaged, coming out as eventual victors. In the afternoon the student group continued their reviewing the Student Attitudes to School survey, preparing for their work with focus groups.

Friday saw the Year 10 students have an assembly where certificates were awarded for some of their achievements - these included Certificate I in Beauty and coaching and umpiring certificates for Sports Leaders.

Next week sees the completion of Year 10 timetabled classes, Year 11 exams and the Year 12 2012 Orientation Program. The stage band and percussion ensemble play at Dizzy's Jazz Club in Richmond at 8pm next Tuesday.
