Week 6 - Moving Forward

The Year 12 exams continued all of the week, finishing next Tuesday. As we prepare to move into Year 11 and Year 10 exams.

Throughout the week the Arts Festival has run. There has been many varied lunchtime activities run by the Arts staff, the display in H6 of student work and a parent evening.

Monday began with briefing in the developing new massive staff space. Throughout the week work has quietly continued there.

Tuesday morning saw the 10A and 10D students engage in the Healthy Lifestyles excursion, a fun time with laser tag was had by all - staff and students alike.

Wednesday's staff meeting saw us review this year's Professional Conversations process. We also looked at the Staff, Teacher and Parent opinion surveys.

Thursday saw 9C continue their intergenerational project with Strathdon. All day our Year 10 and PreVCE students attended an excursion to Scienceworks - the lightning display was hair raising. During the Professional Learning session we looked at teaching in a 1-1 environment, our own e-learning program and the digtal acceptable use policy. We also saw how the breaches of the policy had a staged-response following restorative practice principles.

Friday afternoon saw the Year 10 Sports Leaders continue their coaching of Parkmore Primary School students.
