Week 5 - Renovations & Constructions

Throughout the week our Year 12 students (and some Year 11s) continued with their VCAA exams, moving from H block to M block. Over Monday and Tuesday the Year 10 students had their interviews for Year 11 2012. Whilst Monday afternoon Year 8 students had their 1.4 billion reasons presentation. During the week much progress has happened on the synthetic field - the borders and landscaping are beginning to take shape.

Wednesday's professional learning was centred around the Growth program. The Years 7, 8 and 10 working party and Year 9 working party each reported on their progress. Seeking feedback and input from all staff. All the working parties then met on Thursday to continue their work for 2012.

Thursday saw three of our students participating in the Whitehorse Network Secondary Schools Public Speaking Competition. During the afternoon we saw 9C continue the work with Strathdon. Also the Intergenerational Choir gave their final performance.

On Friday the Remebrance Day observance was held at homegroup time, with three Year 10 students giving talks to the whole school. A fantastic effort for all involved. In the afternoon the Year 10 Sports Leaders continued their coaching at Parkmore Primary School.

Over the weekend the work on the revised staff space will start to take place with the working bee. It will be great on Monday to see what the physical spaces look like and what will be available to us.
