Tuesday Morning saw 100 grade 4 students visit the College. The Year 10 Sports Leaders group led them through an exciting and engaging time, being a credit to the College. During period 4 the Year 10 students had a fantastic fun-filled, interactive Romeo and Juliet performance in the Theatre. A group of our International Students attended an International Student Forum.
On Tuesday Evening Impact ran a highly successful Trivia Night. This involved 80 students and 12 staff in an action packed, fun night - finishing at 9pm.
After school on Wednesday the Professional Learning session was focussed on Numeracy - coming from the work of the Literacy and Numeracy working party. All staff had the opportunity to learn more about our College mantra - maths is fun (though numeracy is more than just maths). Wednesday night saw the debating teams back in action. The junior debating teams won their debates. The Year 9 team, who had progressed deep into the state finals, eventually were bested - having a one point lost.
Whilst during Thursday afternoon and evening there was our Parent/Student/Teacher evening finishing at 8pm. A massive thanks to the staff for their efforts on the day.
Friday was a busy day for students to be out and about. Year 7 Chinese students attended an excursion to Chinatown. Year 9 and Year 10 students participated in the intermediate Round Robin. Whilst other students continued their intergenerational choir experience.
