During the week Year 12 students had three dress up days - this also involved the dressing up of a number of staff.
On Monday evening the Spring Music Concert was held in the evening.
Twenty Year 8 students attended an antibullying forum, coming back with many great ideas. During period 4 the last English performance for the Year 10 students was held.
Wednesday saw the Working Groups meet after school, furthering their work for the Growth program in 2012, working on literacy and numeracy and deaf education initiatives. During the day the Year 9 Drama class went on an excursion to the Happiness Project - they even got to glimpse the Queen. This was also the day that finished the last official timetabled classes for our current Year 12 students. For our many Year 12 ESL students there was a celebratory visit to a restraunt. As always, an orderly and respectful finish to the secondary schooling for our Year 12s happened.
Thursday began with our traditional assembly, featuring a farewell to our Year 12 students. This was followed by a morning tea for staff and students. In the evening they finished with a fun filled evening at Leonda Reception Centre by the Yarra River. A number of our STEM Year 8 students attended LaTrobe University to receive their awards for the Mathematics Talent Quest .
On Friday the Year 9 and Pre-VCE students left early at 7.30am for Sovereign Hill, returning at 4.30pm. In the afternoon our Year 10 Sports Leaders worked with Parkmore Primary School. Our Year 7 cricketers finally got to play their game.
