Term 4 - Welcome Back ... Leading the way

The term started very smoothly and with PURPOSE. With the Leadership team reviewing the progress we have made towards achieving the goals set out in the PURPOSE document, beginning the formulation of out 2012 Annual Implementation Plan.

On Tuesday morning the Year 10 Sports Leaders group undertook a 3 hour soccer coaching course. Year 12 students began their practice exams.

After weeks of practice, the labours of the Intergenerational Choir came to fruition. On Wednesday the choir performed at the Whitehorse Senior Citizens luncheon in front of an audience of 350 people. Whilst this was happening, aspiring College Captain for 2012 were giving their best efforts to entice Year 7 to 11 students to vote for them, so that they have the opportunity to lead the student body. During this assembly time Year 12 students had an information session around schoolies and partying safely.

Thursday afternoon saw 9C begin their intergenerational journey with the Strathdon residents. During the Professional Learning staff were involved in a cybersafety information session.

Friday saw the college represented by a team of athletes at the Eastern Region Athletics Track.
